Guernsey man accused of injuring bikers has case delayed

Mon, 16 Nov 2015

A Guernsey man who's accused of seriously injuring two bikers during TT has had his case adjourned until next year.

48-year-old Mark Febrache is due to stand trial after previously pleading not guilty to two counts of causing serious bodily harm by driving without due care and attention.

The charges relate to a crash at the junction of the Glen Whyllin campsite on June 7th when his motorbike collided with another bike travelling in the opposite direction.

A pre-trial review was due to take place last week but has now been postponed until January 7th - Magistrates branded the delay as "not a very satisfactory state of affairs".
