The Isle of Man will join Europe in observing a minute silence in respect for those killed in Friday's terrorist attacks in Paris.

Residents are asked to participate at 11am this morning.

129 people died when IS militants opened fire in the city.

Flags adorning government buildings have been lowered to half-mast and the Tower of Refuge was lit up in red, white and blue.
