'Irresponsible' drivers slammed for targeting flood workers

Targeting abuse at Infrastructure workers is "irresponsible".

That's the stern message from Minister Phil Gawne - after reports that some drivers were deliberately soaking his staff with flood water on Thursday night.

It's as they were clearing areas restricting the flow of water into the Island's drainage system and attempting to make road conditions safe.

Mr Gawne says the majority of people behaved admirably in a difficult situation but there were some that didn't:
