Castletown car vandal sentenced to 16 months

A car vandal who targetted 35 vehicles in Castletown has been sentenced to 16 months in prison.

25-year-old Daniel Andrews, who's from Onchan, appeared at Douglas Courthouse yesterday.

In November last year Andrews caused damage that ran into tens of thousands of pounds for the owners.

A breach of suspended sentence, two thefts and two counts of provoking behaviour - though unconnected - were counted in the sentence.
