Unanimous backing for new mental health strategy

Around a quarter of the Isle of Man's population will experience mental health problems or mental illness at some stage in their life.

That's according to the Department of Health and Social Care which this week received unanimous Tynwald support for a new five year health and wellbeing strategy.

It says if nothing is done now the cost of providing care and intervention will double in the next 20 years.
