Police warn young people against 'sexting'

Young people on the Isle of Man are being warned not to share any explicit content over their phones or on the internet.

The latest NSPCC advert is encouraging parents to make sure their children are "ShareAware" by highlighting the dangers of sharing intimate photographs.

Police here say they're concerned so called 'sexting' could end up landing teenagers in trouble - legislation means anyone then seen as 'distributing' content is committing an offence under the Indecent Images Act.
