Police say the "continuing aspects" of the search and recovery operation to find a teenager's body are now being managed by the Isle of Man Coastguard.

19-year-old Joshua Caley, who was from Jurby, fell into Ramsey Harbour just after 1am on New Year's Day - despite a large scale search he hasn't yet been found.

Officers say they will still remain as the point of contact for his family in light of any new developments - yesterday his parents issued a statement thanking everyone who's helped so far.

They also spoke directly to Joshua's friends asking them not to blame themselves for what had happened saying it was "an accident and could not have been prevented".

They've urged them instead to celebrate the "happy memories" they have of him.
