Incapacity issue needs addressing in 'short term'

Sensitivity is key to dealing with 'ill-educated' incapacity benefit assessments.

That's the message from Garff MHK Steve Rodan as a full review of Dependability Limited was rejected in Tynwald this week.

Liberal Vannin Leader Kate Beecroft - a long-time critic of the company - had campaigned for the matter to be sent to the Social Policy Review Committee.

Instead it's been deferred to next month's sitting of Tynwald - Mr Rodan says things need to change now:
