A pensioner from Jurby has pleaded guilty to benefit fraud after receiving over £3,000 he wasn't entitled to.

73-year-old Douglas Corkill appeared at Douglas Courthouse last week where he admitted four counts of making false representations.

He was claiming Income Support between March and June of 2015 - but failed to declare that he was also working.

Social enquiry reports have been requested before he is sentenced on March 29th.
