Hospice warning of potential 'scam' letter

People are being warned not to be fooled into thinking they are supporting Hospice by a replying to a letter from a UK end of life facility:
 
The fundraising team was alerted to the problem after someone rang up to enquire about a letter from Hospice Aid UK - no proceeds donated to that charity will go to Hospice Isle of Man. 
 
Although the charity is real the UK Charity Commission has opened an inquiry into it to determine whether it's being used for private advantage.
 
Margaret Simpson is the chief executive for Hospice Isle of Man - she says anyone who has received the letter should bin it to avoid being 'duped':
