Aging population prompts housing criteria proposals

Housing on the Isle of Man needs to change to accommodate the aging population.
 
That's the MHK with responsibility for the area - he's brought forward a Tynwald motion to introduce testing for public sector sheltered housing tenants. 
 
It would change eligibility criteria and the privatisation process.
 
Chris Thomas says there's scope for government to extend it to all housing provided through local authorities:
