Prom campaigners slammed for 'refusing' to liaise with DoI

Complaining prom plan campaigners refused to work with government to find a solution - that's the message from the Minister for Infrastructure.

The Council of Ministers ditched the £21 million scheme after an independent planning inspector’s report declared objections against implementing it.

Murray Lambden started a Facebook campaign with a case against allowing horse trams and cars on the walkway. 

Phil Gawne says the DoI’s approach to revamping Douglas Promenade can't be described as “shambolic” if Mr Lambden wouldn't contribute to discussions:
