Man razors hair and beard for Manx Blind Welfare

Wed, 30 Mar 2016

£900 has been raised for a local charity by a man who razored off his hair and beard.

The money has been gifted to the Manx Blind Welfare Society in memory of Ian Macaulay's late father, Donald - who lost his eyesight.

The 62-year-old grandfather said he wanted to show appreciation to the society for the aid and advice it gave to his Dad.

An initial target of £200 was achieved and the donations are still rolling in.

He's now wearing a hat to keep his head warm - anyone looking to contribute should visit facebook.com/manxblindwelfaresociety
