Twenty five shooters took part in the second round of Ayre Clay Target Club’s English Skeet league on Sunday, kindly sponsored by Penketh-Millar Architectural Design.

Martin Kneen and Paul Mihailovits tied for the top spot in the 50 target league, scoring 49. Steve Brew and Juan Cowley were joint third on 48

Kneen finished top in the 100 league on 98. Mihailovits was second on 97 with Cowley in third on 96.

Results of Penketh-Millar 50 league competition:

A Class: 1= Martin Kneen and Paul Mihailovits 49; 2= Steve Brew and Juan Cowley 48.

B Class: 1, Bob Corlett 44; 2, Richie Howland 43; 3, Keith Jones 42.

C Class: 1, Martin Malone 45; 2, Billy Howland 44; 3, Madeline Simpson 43.

This week at Blue Point is the first of the Harding Lewis Limited English Sporting League. Entries close at 10.15am. The Wednesday night club shoots have started for the summer, setting up from 6pm.
