Life saving equipment donated to local communities

Defibrillators will be placed in public spots around the Island thanks to a local charity. 
 
Craig's Heartstrong Foundation has teamed up with the Rushen and St John Ambulance Service to donate the kit so there is instant access to emergency care.
 
The boxes will be in public areas but will be locked - if someone's in need of help they can call for an ambulance and will be provided with a code to open the case.
 
The first one has already been unveiled in Kirk Michael with more to follow at other locations - chairman Paul Healey say's the defibrillators are simple to use and could save lives:
