Mark Riley won the  third round of the Absolute Scaffolding sponsored Olympic Trap league at Ayre Clay Target Club’s Blue Point range on Sunday with a score of 42/50.  David Wilfy Walton and Phil Ward were joint second on 41 with Mike Walker fourth on 38.

 

Marty Kneen won the third round of the Sportrap league, kindly sponsored by Dave and Pam Corlett.  Dave Lally was second with Steve Brew taking third place.

 

Results Sportrap League:

 

A Class: 1, Marty Kneen 44/50; 2, Dave Lally 41; 3, Steve Brew 39.

B Class: 1=, George Davies37 and Ben Richards 37; 3 Phil Butler 34.

C Class: 1, Jake Brew 29; 2, Ted Davis 26; 3, Jordan Dougherty 22.

 

This week at Blue Point there will be a work party on Saturday starting from 1pm.  Would all members please try to attend, it is our shooting club and the work seems to fall to just a handful of people.  There will be cake.

 

Sunday’s competition is the 100 target Manx Petroleum Trophy, kindly sponsored by Top Spec Fencing.  Entries close at 10.15am.

 

The coast road from Bride to Jurby will be closed between 9.30 and 11.30am on Sunday.  We have assurances that the crossing point at the Leodest Road from Kirk Andreas village will be open.  Should anyone have difficulty accessing the range then please call Anne on 497136
