HMS Ramsey visits for TT 2016

Royal Navy mine hunter HMS Ramsey is visiting the Island to spend time in its affiliated town of the same name.
 
This week its crew has been on dry land helping out during the TT festival - they've provided marshals for the races, attended the festivities at Peel Day and put on a demonstration which coincided with the display by the Red Arrows.
 
Around 40 crew members have spent the visit engaging with the community after the ship berthed at Victoria Pier in Douglas on Saturday.  
 
The captain, Lieutenant-Commander Jim Blythe, has been in the Navy for 19 years and is proud of the ship's links to the Island:
