Driver who smashed into fanzone banned from road

Police have taken to social media to highlight the car responsible for causing damage to a TT 'fanzone' last week.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning a black Honda Civic crashed into the grandstand at the Creg-ny-Baa.

The car - which was UK registered - was written off.

Police have posted a picture of the vehicle highlighting that the driver received a six month ban and a fine of £1625.
