Watterson wants to keep seat in Rushen

Thu, 21 Jul 2016

Rushen MHK Juan Watterson has confirmed he'll be defending his seat at the General Election.

The Minister for Home Affairs has put himself forward for the vote in September.

He says when he first stood for the House of Keys it was on the basis we needed MHKs who understood public services and could provide 'real value for money'.

He believes he's achieved that with improvements to the prison, criminal justice strategy and reduction of crime levels saying he wishes to continue his work.
