Praise for Island students after A-level success

A-level students on the Isle of Man have been praised for their hard work and determination after securing an overall pass rate of 98.1 per cent.
 
344 year 13 students collected their results yesterday - they mark the culmination of two years of study in sixth form at the Island's five secondary schools. 
 
They'd sat exams in more than 40 subjects earlier this year - 7.3 per cent of students achieved an A* grade.
