Civil servant 'compelled' to stand for Garff

A General Election candidate who's spent years advising decision makers says it's now time to "put up or shut up".

Civil servant Daphne Cain has declared her intention to stand in Garff saying she feels compelled to ensure the Isle of Man negotiates a positive future post Brexit.

She says the Island is 'teetering on a precipice' at the minute and decisions taken in the next few months will be critical for the future adding she 'passionately wants the Island to succeed'.
