Police recover stolen vehicle in Douglas

Police say enquiries are continuing after they found a stolen car in Douglas on Thursday night.

The blue Fiat Doblo was reported as pinched a number of weeks ago - officers renewed appeals for help earlier this week.

The car was spotted by a member of the public travelling up Mona Drive - witnesses claim it was being chased by three police vehicles at the time.

Police have confirmed the vehicle was later found abandoned in Hutchinson Square.
