Passenger watchdog pleased with easyJet progress

Government is in 'full conversation' with easyJet as part of efforts to improve the airline's service to and from the Island. 
 
That's according to TravelWatch which has been campaigning for more reliable air links - particularly on the London routes.
 
The passenger watchdog has published a General Election briefing for all candidates highlighting the key issues with travel. 
 
It says improved arrangements are needed to safeguard 'lifeline' routes against operators who fail to provide an adequate service especially during periods of peak demand. 
 
Terry Liddiard is the lead on air services - he says he's hopeful easyJet will make improvements going forward:
