Van to teach Island about cancer

A special van which will teach people how to identify cancer symptoms will be on the Isle of Man next week.

The i-Van, which is run by the Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Trust, will visit a number of location on the Island.

Members of the public can learn how to spot signs of cancer, how to reduce the risk of developing to condition and how to conduct self-examinations.

Trained staff will be available to answer any questions and give advice to those visiting the van.

You can find the van at the following locations:

Isle of Man College Car Park - Tuesday 13th 8am - 3pm

Ramsey Shoprite Car Park - Wednesday 9.30pm - 1pm

Port Erin Shoprite Car Park - Wednesday 2pm - 6pm

Graville Street, Douglas - Thursday 10am - 5pm
