Angry Voters Choose New over Old

Voters in the General Election register their anger with the outgoing Keys as many newcomers topped the poles in their Constituencies.

Teacher Jason Moorhouse was elected by a clear majority having narrowly missed out on a place 5 years ago when Castletown had just one seat in the House. (Play Clip)

Other newcomers to top the polls over sitting Members were Clare Bettison in Douglas East, Rob Callister in Onchan, Bill Shimmins in Middle and former Mayor of Douglas, David Ashford in Douglas North.
