63-year-old injured in alleged assault

A 63-year-old man has suffered injuries following an incident with another male in Ramsey.

A passer-by called police yesterday lunchtime after witnessing the altercation on Tower Street.

As a result a 24-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assault.

Officers believe a number of other people in the area stopped to see what was happening, and are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident.
