Appeal raises funds for crash victim's funeral

A friend of the woman killed in a crash in the north of the Island earlier this week is raising money to help her family.

27-year-old Laura Kinrade died when her car struck a tree on Lezayre Road on Sunday evening.

Wayne Dale set up the 'Doing it for Laura' campaign on the You Caring website to cover the cost of Ms Kinrade's funeral, with over half of the £4000 target already pledged.

The Jurby woman leaves two children, who sustained minor injuries in the same incident.
