Four puppies abandoned in the north of the Island earlier this year have all found new homes.

The Manx Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has been looking after the collies since they were left in a tied-up bag near the civic amenity site in October as newborns.

Staff at the charity have been hand-rearing the puppies - who are now nine weeks old - around the clock to prepare them for rehoming.

Police are still keen to hear from anyone who can help them trace the person responsible for abandoning the animals.
