Recycled Christmas trees to be used in parks

Douglas residents are being asked to recycle their Christmas trees to provide chippings for use in the town's parks and gardens.

Douglas Borough Council is collecting the trees free of charge in a number of locations until January 7th.

The local authority says it uses the trees to make chipped material for a number of sites, including the Summerhill Glen.
