The Island's police will hold a weapons amnesty throughout February.

Members of the public will be able to surrender air weapons, firearms, ammunition, electronic stun devices and other illegal or offensive weapons next month with no questions asked.

Officers will arrange for items handed in to be properly disposed of.

Weapons can be dropped off at Castletown, Peel and Ramsey Police Stations, as well as Police Headquarters in Douglas.
