Man charged after £196,000 worth of cannabis seized

A man will appear in court today after police seized almost £200,000 worth of cannabis.

The substance was found in a vehicle in Pulrose on Saturday, and has an estimated value of £196,000.

A 52-year-old from Liverpool has been charged with serious drugs offences as a result of the discovery.

Officers have described the seizure as substantial and are appealing for members of the public to report anything suspicious to help police find more drugs in the future.
