Four squads of shooters took part in the fifth and final round of Ayre Clay Target Club’s winter down the line league at Blue Point on Sunday, kindly sponsored by JW Kneen and Son.

Kevin Oates was the winner, scoring 49/144.  Marty Kneen was second on 48/142, with Paul Mihailovits taking third with 47/141.

Marty Kneen took the league win.  Dave Corlett was second with Kevin Oates in third place.

Results:

A Class: 1, Kevin Oates 49/144; 2, Martin Kneen 48/138; 3, Richard Davies 46/135.

B Class: 1, Dave Corlett 48/142; 2, Paul Mihailovits 47/141; 3, Stan Skinner 48/136.

C Class: 1, Jeff Fargher 40/115; 2, Peter Lowe 38/105; 3, Fred Waggett 34/94.

This week at Blue Point is a 50 target English Skeet competition, sponsored by Paul’s Gunstocks.  Entries close at 10.15am.
