Mountain Road to stay shut until 2pm

The Mountain Road will remain closed until 2pm because of the weather conditions.

Snow has built up on the route overnight and continued to fall this morning, forcing authorities to keep the road closed to traffic until this afternoon.

Police are reminding drivers that it's an offence to travel on closed roads.

An amber weather warning will remain in place until 3am tomorrow.
