Third time lucky for first TT practice laps

The first practice laps for this year's TT are still to take place.

Thick mist and rain meant last night's qualifying session had to be called off, while Saturday was also cancelled.

As a result, the speed-controlled laps for solo and sidecar newcomers have been scheduled for this evening from 6.20, followed by superbike, superstock and supersport laps 15 minutes later.

The supersport and lightweight machines are due out from 7.20, while the sidecars go out at 7.55, with the weather forecast to be dry and bright.
