TT organisers issue injured rider updates

TT organisers have issued updates on a number of riders who have sustained injuries at this year's races.

Lee Johnston is awaiting transfer to Liverpool after a crash in practice week, while Joe Akroyd has gone across for treatment on fractures.

Danny Webb has been treated for a dislocated shoulder after a crash during practice, while newcomer Tom Weeden received medical attention for chest and back injuries after coming off at Brandywell during the Supersport.

Bjorn Gunnarsson and Paul Jordan were also involved in incidents earlier in the meeting, but have since been discharged from Noble's.
