TT logo trademark extended

The Economic Development Minister has revealed his Department has recently extended the trademark for the TT logo.

The Manx Government registered the logo in the UK in 2006, but found there wasn't a big enough audience further afield to justify registering it elsewhere.

However, Laurence Skelly told this week's sitting of the House of Keys that the logo has recently been registered in 12 categories for use in Europe as a result of the growth of the event.

The Classic TT trademark, which was registered for UK use in 2013, has also been extended.
