Police investigate burglary at Spar

Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a convenience store on the Island.

The incident happened at The Spar on the Main Road in Union Mills between 9.20pm on Sunday 4th June and 6.30am the following day.

Officers are still looking for a silver or grey portable safe with a key code on the front that was taken from the store during the burglary.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious at the relevant times or anyone who has seen a discarded safe.
