Committee to hear endoscopy evidence from Health Minister

The Health Minister will give evidence to a Tynwald committee about her Department's decision to move all endoscopy services to Noble's Hospital.

The Department of Health and Social Care has transferred appointments, equipment and staff from Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital so all endoscopy appointments take place at the same site.

Kate Beecroft will be asked about the move by the Social Affairs Policy Review Committee this morning.

The DHSC's Chief Executive Dr Malcolm Couch will also give evidence.

The committee is examining the Department's handling of the decision.
