Mon, 07 Aug 2017

Over half of the Island's residents feel Government policies have a negative impact on their lives according to a Government survey.

53% of those who responded to the Cabinet Office's Social Attitudes survey claimed the policies of the Manx Government have a negative impact on them.

Three in 10 believe the impact of Government policies is positive, while 29% feel the Government doesn't have clear policies.

The survey also revealed 46% of the public is confident in the Government, while 38% are confident in Parliament.

Public satisfaction with the police, education, health and social care all fell from 2016 to this year, while public transport and leisure facilities all improved.
