Charity donates teddies to help young victims of trauma

A local charity is giving teddy bears to the emergency services to help children involved in traumatic incidents.

The Lion's Club has gifted the Trauma Teddies to the police and ambulance services to provide comfort for youngsters involved in such incidents.

The scheme was organised following a chance meeting between an officer and a member of the Lion's Club at the Tynwald Day ceremony.

The police and ambulance services confirmed the teddies will be put into action immediately.
