Police are renewing their appeal for information about the dumping of four newborn puppies in the north of the Island.

It's exactly one year since the Collie puppies were left in a bin bag near the Balladoole Civic Amenity Site in Bride.

The dogs survived the ordeal and were hand reared at the MSPCA until they were old enough to be rehomed.

However, the police are still trying to find the person responsible for dumping them, and say their investigation relies heavily on information for the community.

Anyone who can help with the investigation is urged to contact Ramsey Police Station on 812234.
