Thu, 16 Nov 2017

The number of properties on the Island registered for Homestay increased to almost 900 this year.

In 2017, 884 properties were signed up to the scheme, which allows residents to hire out their properties to visitors during the TT and Festival of Motorcycling.

The amount of properties registered has been increasing every year since 2013, when the total stood at 630.

The Homestay Scheme has previously been operated by Regency Travel, but a new provider will take over for 2018.
