New rehabilitation centre for Island

The Government has confirmed a rehabilitation centre for offenders on the Island is going to close.

David Gray House has been described as 'unfit for purpose' by the Salvation Army.

A statement released by the Manx Government has confirmed the Probation Service will run the operation instead from a newly converted building in Douglas.

The new residential facility with scope to offer more rehabilitation work and programmes.
