Postage prices to go up on Island

Mon, 09 Mar 2020

It will cost more for you to send a letter from next month.

The price of sending a standard letter to an address on the Island and to the UK will increase to 62p.

Special Delivery UK services have seen a 1.5 percent rise in costs.

The Post Office is blaming a decline in mail volumes and an increase in operational costs.

Julie Edge MHK, Chairman of Isle of Man Post Office, said: “We are committed to ensuring the quality and sustainability of our services to all our customers. As we continue with our five year strategy to transform the business in the years to come, the new prices will help to achieve this and protect IOMPO’s proud self-funding status.”
