Girl hospitalised after car collision

A four year old girl has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car.

The girl was struck by a slow moving Citroen Xsara on Marine Parade in Peel shortly after 2.00 on Saturday afternoon.

The girl's condition has been described as serious but stable.

Officers in the Roads Policing Unit would like to speak to anyone  who was in the area between 1.30 and 2.20, remembers seeing the blue Citroen car, or witnessed what happened.
