The Transport Minister has confirmed he still hasn’t received the Langness inquiry report.

David Anderson was meant to give a statement on the findings at this month’s sitting of Tynwald.

A number of issues are said to be to blame for this latest delay.

Mr Anderson says Inspector Roy Hickey has experienced some difficulties with particular complex parts of the inquiry and the composition of the report has proved to be much more complicated than anticipated.

It’s now expected at the end of this month.

The inquiry into public access to land at the beauty spot was held last year following a dispute between landowner Jeremy Clarkson and a group of local ramblers.
