"Safety concern diver not the first" - Moffatt

The Secretary for the Employees side of the Whitley Council says a number of divers have raised concerns over safety.

Former DoT diver Sean O'Connell claims he was sacked for questioning the safety procedures of the Department.

Bernard Moffatt, who has been representing O'Connell, says he isn't the first diver who has needed the Whitley Council's help.

Mr O'Connell became worried when he saw a log from a dive, which resulted in him needing treatment in the Hyperbaric Chamber, had been altered several times.
