Ramsey man accused of serious sex offence

A Ramsey man has been charged following a serious sexual assault within an address on  Parliament Street.

The 34 year old was remanded in custody last week, and will appear before the Deputy High Bailiff in the morning.

Police are still appealing for witnesses in relation to this incident.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who saw a distressed female running along Parliament Street at around 11.00PM on March 1st.

She was wearing a red jacket, grey scraf and jeans, and may have spoken to a male in the Mandarin Chinese Takeaway.
