Fire crews tackle blaze in car park

Fire crews were called to a car park in Douglas after a vehicle caught fire.

Officers attended the scene in the Marks & Spencer's Car Park at around 7.15pm last night.

Crews were able to use the in-built fire-fighting system at the car park along with handheld fire extinguishers to put the blaze out.

No other cars were damaged in the incident, and the team was able to return to the station after 90 minutes at the scene.
