Emergency services called to Braaid crash

The fire service had to help a driver from their vehicle following a crash at Braaid.

All three emergency services were called to the scene yesterday morning after the Audi crashed on the St Marks Road.

The road was completely blocked and the driver couldn't get out of the car because of back pain.

Paramedics worked to make to make the casualty more comfortable before fire officers helped get them out of the vehicle.

The road was blocked for around an hour while the scene was cleared.
